Lizzie Post is the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post and co-author of Emily Post’s Etiquette 19^thedition as well as Emily Post’s Wedding Etiquette 6^th edition, and The Etiquette Advantage in Business 3^rd edition. She is a co-president of the Emily Post Institute as well as a co-host of the Awesome Etiquette podcast, a weekly Q&A show that explores the topic of etiquette through the lens of consideration, respect, and honesty.

Lizzie joins the podcast this week to talk about the importance of etiquette in today’s world. We chat about our family connections, how she used to babysit one of the members of Phish’s kids, and I ask Lizzie a few questions about social media etiquette and the world today.

Today Lizzie and her cousin Daniel Post Senning run the Emily Post institute as they continue to evolve the brand and bring etiquette into the twenty-first century.
