The days seems to pass by and try to keep up with a busy schedule. Today finds me just about ready to hit the road for another race. Headed to the third state in the last seven days. This weekend I head back to Amesbury, MA for a Spartan Race Sprint it’s been almost two years since I raced there in 2010. Looking forward to seeing the progression of the course.

I am feeling pretty good, my body is a little beat-up after so many races back-to-back this summer. This will be my eighth race since the beginning of June. However, I was able to get in some miles and explosive training last week so I am ready to see how the body holds up to the race this weekend.

It’s been a busy week, I was able to spend some time with my family at the beginning of the week and see friends and cousins I only see once a year for a day or two. Then it was quickly back to Vermont and life here in the woods. I turned the hands of time one notch forward turning 29 this weekend. One more year before I go into an even more competitive age bracket, yes the things I think about now.

Yesterday, Spartan Race posted a video made by the special production company of the PA Sprint. The women I had the pleasure to race against were tough and loved being able to spend time with them and race against them. I am looking forward to the showdown in the fall again with many of the women!

Crazy post I know, hopefully tonight I can sit down and write about some of my Olympic thoughts as we are approaching the end of this years games.
