Going On Air – New Show in Development
A bit of exciting news:
Day-to-day I have a lot of different projects I am working on. People might not see me at races as much anymore but I am more involved than ever in the OCR community. I write about 20-30 articles a month about the industry for About.com, Mud & Obstacle Magazine, this website, and other freelance work. I coach people formally and informally, and freely share lots of information about the sport each day online and in conversations. I spend hours each day talking with those entrenched in the world and drive my boyfriend nuts hearing about all the possible “things” that may or may not happen.
This industry is new and growing and opportunities today and tomorrow are growing. With that and the ink is now dry, excited about a new venture with Brett Stewart and his production company.
Starting (probably) in August I will be launching with Brett’s production company a new online series about OCR, Outdoor Living, and the Outdoor Lifestyle.
It’s been a dream of mine for a long time to work on a project like this. Growing up in the public relations world I spent a lot of my life with personalities, media, and the people in front of and behind the camera. I have always had a deep dream of wanting to be a commentator on sports and the outdoors.
I am excited to add this to the many other projects I am working on and excited to be working with a great group of people!
I have tons to learn and will be asking many questions of those who know more than I do over the next couple of months (be ready) and look forward to a new challenge and opportunity to grow!
