Bonus Episode – Wim Hof – The Iceman Working to Change Science
Wim Hof known to many as “The Iceman” has garnered a worldwide attention for his 23 World Records and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. For the last couple of years, Wim has been working with scientists from around the world to show scientifically how and why he has been able to achieve all these records and how everyone can learn to harsh their own biology.
I first heard about Wim Hof a few years ago and quickly brushed off what he was saying based on my own previous cold injuries from racing and put his story on the backburner as we often do with podcast interviews. Then about a year ago, my fiance discovered Wim Hof and his breathing methods showcased on numerous podcasts and videos.
It took me a few months to jump on board and actually give the Wim Hof Method a try. I decided if I would do it I would do it 100% and purchased the 10-week online Wim Hof Method course. After the first week, I started to see changes and I have documented on this website and after two months have seen profound changes in my life and knew that I needed to get Wim on the podcast to talk about the science behind his method. Below are my check-ins from the course so far.
With a few emails, I was able to set up an interview with Wim to talk about his method, the development, the science, and specifically talk about how women can benefit from using his method.
Wim and I had a great chat about his method, science, and how we all can tap into our own inner power to live a happy, strong, and healthy life! Check out the episode then check out his 3-part free video series and learn the basics and try the method yourself.
