Magicstick by Powerocks USA is my new favorite device when I am traveling. As a blogger, writer, and all in all gear junkie this is one of the best devices for traveling and charging your electronics on the go. Before thinking this device is something dirty, it’s an external power source to recharge your devices on the go. So far I have taken this device to Nicaragua and Mexico and other travels here in the US. It has been indispensable for my travels, my reporting and my overall connectedness to the world while traveling.

The magicstick device holds up to two full charges for your smartphone and is light and compact. It retails for $39.99 and is well worth the investment. It has saved me more than once being able to travel and recharge my phone on the fly while on a plane. The only downside to the device is it takes a little while to charge so you have to think ahead and charge it the night before you want to use it. But the device holds a charge well so you can charge it a few days ahead of time. If you are a traveler or beat your phone battery down on a normal basis this is the device for you!
