Dirt in Your Skirt has its own anthem!

Emily Potter is a gift-based economy musician and I had the chance to interview her on the podcast (episode 82). During the interview she talked about a challenge she created for herself in 2018, writing one new original song a month. After the podcast was over I reached out to her to see if she wanted to create a song for Dirt in Your Skirt.

That’s right Dirt in Your Skirt would get its own song for use on the podcast. Emily and I chatted over a couple emails and today she came out with the original song and lyrics for Dirt in Your Skirt and the podcast.

Whether you want to call it an anthem, call to arms, empowering moment, or just something you find yourself singing along to, it’s incredibly cool and exciting to have a song to represent Dirt in Your Skirt.

The few friends I have shared it with this morning have all said they feel the brand, myself, and the podcast all in this two minutes of song/storytelling. While I am sure it is not for everyone I am pretty happy with the end product and a huge thank you to Emily Potter for the hard work she put into creating this original piece.
