Ep. 99 – Aeni Domme – Professional Makeup Artist Behind The Painted Warrior

Aeni Domme is a Phoenix, Arizona based makeup artist for film and television but is also known in the obstacle racing world as The Painted Warrior’s bodypainter and wife. She is apart of a documentary about The Painted Warrior’s origins and journey. On the artist side, she recently completed a docu-drama film about Charles Manson and his family that aired in March on Fox.

Aeni and I talk about the genesis of The Painted Warrior and the work that goes into creating and executing the designs. We chat about the time and energy that goes into each piece and how it really is moving art out on the course.

Aeni and her husband Stephen Sinek are currently working on a documentary about The Painted Warrior and their work has also been featured on the Rise of the Sufferfests documentary.
