Episode 16 – Kate Logan – On Rituals, Ayurvedic Healing, and Turning Down Playboy

Kate Logan joins the podcast this week, she is a native Vermonter and mother of two who has a varied and diverse background. She is a dedicated yogini since 1997 and teacher since 2002. Logan completed her teacher training’s with well-known yogis Godfrey Deveroux and Shiva Rea. Logan a graduate of The Natural Gourmet Cookery in NYC and has completed an extensive training course with The International Academy of Ayurveda in Pune, India.

But this is just a small part of the story of Kate Logan. She joins the podcast this week and talks about the importance of ritual and how this importance led to her making international news and an offer from Playboy Magazine after her high school graduation speech. She delves into how books have guided her journey in life and how she has continued to be a seeker of knowledge and truth.

We close up the podcast with her talking about how her life has taken her around the world and has come full circle as she now finds herself back in Vermont managing her family business, The Red Fox Inn, in Stratton, Vermont and living with near her and her partners family raising their two kids. Logan is grateful and honored to share her love of yoga and how it’s practice can make positive shifts in our everyday lives, gently guiding us towards our highest dreams and possibilities.
